Asia Harvest 3

Japan learned its lesson by Tokugawa Hidetada period that Christian persecution does not work. It backfires. Japan is a well developed and well-educated nation now and has achieved the ‘Jana kalyan and Sarve bhavantu sukhinah’. It is very hard for missionaries to promote Christianity in Japan. Hence the Christian missionaries refer to Japan as a ‘tough nut to crack’.  Something we must learn from
Japan.

Thailand, Nepal, Tibet, India and Japan have much less violence against conversions. These countries clearly understand that physical violence by their government or by its citizens against Islam and Christianity is not the solution to stop conversions. They know it backfires. They realize that in this day and age they need ‘intellectual kshatriyas’.
